Friends Scheme

Have you ever thought of becoming more closely associated with your local choral society?

In our Jubilee year we relaunched our Friends scheme. The intention being to encourage our loyal supporters to become Friends and thereby help to support Harrogate Choral Society put on major works.

For an annual amount of 15 for individuals and 20 for households we offer priority booking, the regular Society newsletter and a periodic letter from the Chairman.

We also hope that Friends will join us for various social events, where they could meet members and their families, as well as our Music Director, Deputy Music Director and Accompanist.

In addition we would greatly appreciate any help which Friends could offer in the running of the choral society – such as assisting with front-of-house duties at our concerts.

Finally, we regard the Friends as an important channel of feedback on our concerts, and a source of suggestions for future performances. Friends will be listed in our concert programmes, unless they tell us that they would rather not be.

If you would like to support us by becoming one of our Friends, or require further information, please contact the Friends Secretary via our contact us form.

Leaving a Gift to Harrogate Choral Society in your Will

How much do you value your association with Harrogate Choral Society?

Whether as a singer, a supporter or a member of the audience you will already know the enjoyment you have experienced, perhaps over many years, from our concerts and events.

Did you know that you could help to enhance the activities of the choir by leaving a gift to the Society in your will? Such a bequest, however small, would be a wonderful way to pass on your love of choral music to future generations.

If you would like to support Harrogate Choral Society in this way, you will require the Society's Registered Charity Number which is 1164776. For further information, please contact the Society's Treasurer, Gill Walsh, via our contact us form.
